Thanks for some of the comments. I had taken some F15's that day but they did not convey a sense of speed. For those who may be interested here is the original shot //www.pbase.com/caeclyd/image/92639391

Great capture, but a little too center weighted.

The camera angle is straight on and boring, also the plane is in the center of the photo making it uninteresting

A cool picture, but uninteresting for the eye.

Good contrast on the plane nice colors.

Great panning, and a great contrast of the sharp blue on blurry earth.

nice shot, the plane is lacking detail, perhaps you would have had a better shot by getting closer to the plane

A view of a plane that you normally do not get to see. Very cool image.

Really sharp, good work

Very cool.

kind of a strange crop but awesome shot - where were you when you took this?

Wow, What a unique pov! Is he banking with a hill in the background or are you in another plane looking down on him? (I'd guess banking) The left wing feels slightly too close to the border for me, but hey, that reassures me that this isn't just a model in front of a good blurry background ;) Nice capture.

Good shot. Make it bigger next time tho

nice capture. this plane is certainly moving, and you indeed had to pan to catch this shot. crop is a little tight for me, but nice shot overall.

nice

very professional

Great viewpoint and excellent panning.

nice, but not enough contrast in the photo for my liking
