 Katie Gray singing the title song from her debut album, 'From Far Away', at the Lighthouse Bistro in Kilauea. I know it is not a great shot but I am not comfortable taking people photos so this is stepping outside my realm of comfortable.

Katie had so many friends in the restaurant, even though she doesn't live here. Katie even stopped by to say hello and remembered my name and thanked me for coming to see her. I wish the acoustics would have been better but it is a bistro after all but Katie was great.

Good French onion soup and a wonderfully garlic-y cesar salad. Great Keoki Sunset on draft and an equally delicious port for dessert.

Nice work. The b&w gives it a very nostalgic look, and I'm a fan of soft focus.

Sounds like a fantastic and satisfying evening. I like the color and grain/noise, it gives it a concert feel, at least for me anyway.

you may not think this is a great shot, but i feel you've captured a special quality in it .. i love your sepia process and your crop .. her expression ... perfect .. i bet you're so glad you stepped out of your comfort zone .. !!!..:)
