Shot seems too busy to me.

I really like this but would score it higher if I could see the subject's face better

Nicely done. Whatever that is on the lower left though bothers me. BOL

I really like this image. My only suggestion would be that it seems a bit dark in spots - however, I know how difficult it must have been to get the balance just right with the light source as it is. Good luck!

Way, way too dark. Can't really see her expression, the dog looks a bit upset to be held that way. The lower left corner of the photo has a black thing that's distracting. The idea was good, but you need to work on the lighting.

Too Dark, I can see what you are trying to capture but would have been nice to capture a bit more definiton on the face

She looks a little frozen, stiff. Maybe if the hand was cropped out? I do like the shadows and light.

Hard shot. I would have provided a little more light to capture the backside of subjects face, as well as the dog's. Looks like a bit of slight action on the dog's ears, which could be just my horrible monitor or softness of lighting. If it is motion blur, providing that little bit more light coming from the right side might allow a faster shutter.
Good picture though.

Self-Portrait? I like the use of the natural light for this and b/w is nice...I would have liked to have either seen the other eye or had that whole half of the face in the shadow
