I love the way the texture work here! Somehow I think it brings out the slushy clumps of snow amongst the silvery puddles... most intriguing. |

This looks like it would respond in an interesting way with the Urban Acid action. Might be useful to see what it would look like if Goodman's texture was flipped vertically, so the lighter/darker areas of the texture swap places, and put their respective emphases in different areas of the base image. I like how this straddles the cute/sad divide - they seem stranded, but yet they have each other. |

Sweet - great colors. I like that look, as if seeing the scene through really old glass. The fact that this image is not following the rule of thirds makes me look harder and longer - so maybe it's a good thing. I wouldn't mess with it. |

Cool shot and the texture works well. I like the tones too. Have you considered cropping more off the left and bottom (placing the gulls more in the lower left corner)? Just an unsolicited thought... ;-) |

Great use of the icy layer to really enhance the mood. |

I think this would look wicked as a gritty b/w image! |

The processing really suits this I think with a bit of cropping putting the birds more in the bottom LH corner would make it more dynamic |

Thumbnail makes this looks like some kind of abstract. Didn't know what is was until I clicked into it. I think it's cool how they're catching a ride. No pun intended. Like the scratchy overlay and how this looks toasty with sunshine. |
