I bought a bunch of new amazing face paint and wanted to try it out. I got this idea of being conflicted between who you are and who you want to be, so she is painting herself to make herself someone she is not. The black and white was just for symbolism not of race necessarily but of just contrasting personalities and such. I hope this goes over better than my last free study.

Very creative portrait, not many use black paint on models, but lighting and textures look great on it. I think the whole dramatic feel here is present because of the two colors alone evoking conflict, or even repentance.
