 This is my first submission to a DP challenge. I've only had my camera for a couple of months, so take it easy on me.

Photo Background: This photo was taken spontaneously one evening while attending a local talent show. I stood on a chair and focused on her eyes. She thought I was nutz!!

Thanks for the comments both during the challenge and after. Even you Toddhead! I was pleasantly surprised by my score. I was really limited by my surroundings on this shot. I don't have a flash yet and the lighting in this gymnasium isn't that great, but I did the best I could. Look forward to future challenges.

I gave this a 7. Liked the perspective. There is innocence in this image. Her blue eyes are beautiful and my main criticism was that the focus was not as sharp on them as other areas in the image. Depending what you had to work with, perhaps a little more skirt included too and a bit more 'around' her, as the out of focus skirt creates a nice effect.

When I look at this picture I get very dizzy. As a matter of fact, the first time I saw it I was standing up and I got so dizzy I ended up falling down, hitting my head on a table which knocked me out and when I woke up I realized I had... well, pooped in my brand new pants! For that...you get a ONE!
