Today we went over to Granny Jennie's house to celebrate her 89th birthday. We took her to dinner and then went back to her place to have cake. Cartesia was obviously being her typical self, clearly evident in the picture. I must say that despite Granny Jennie's age she sure is easy going with my two spirited children. If you look closely you can see that Granny is smiling.

Edit: Granny does have nice hair but today she decided to wear a wig because her hair wasn't getting done until Monday.

Not really liking how this picture turned out overall. I am really skeptical about the boarder. Live, experiment and learn I guess.

Granny Jennie seems to be enjoying Cartesia's affection.

It's hard to tell who has the bigger smile here - nice job capturing the moment.

I love the playful relationship you captured in this. (Great?) Granny obviously enjoys the attention just as much as Cartesia. The border tends to get lost against that beige background which may be why you're not liking it so much.

Ha - that's really cute. "If you look closely, you can see she's smiling" that's priceless.

This has an old-time feel to it, like a photo from the 60's that you'd find in a shoebox. The border works fine.

Think you should frame this and give it to Granny Jennie. It's so full of sincere love. That is unless Cartesia is trying to get her in a head lock. lol
