the soft focus effect makes this one of the better "birth" photos in this challenge.

Note an original idea, the eyes look a little strange and more in focus than the rest of the face.

Aha! Another birthday view. I wanted to do this shot but didn't get hold of the props. I actually like yours more than the other one that I've just seen because of the depth of field and wider shot. Very nicely done.

Great idea, would've scored higher IMO if you had more of the doctors face in focus as well.
