This is the Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. It is huge and quite a landmark. Phoenix has a lot of interesting architecture, so I was torn what to submit.
Since it looks so hive-like, I decided to go with the BW rendition and hope that the space-age feel comes across.

I remember this shot from last year, feels like yesterday! Nice building, title fits, all we need is the borg queen standing behind one of them windows:)
hey alicia .. i hadnt seen this before ..
BRILLIANT .. wot a great entry in the architecture challenge .. so graphic .. such an excellent process .. :)
Great Black and White conversion, which really brings out the 'alien# look of the building. I am not quite sure whether what is fairly stark architecture is the best for encouraging rest and recuperation but I guess ultimatly it is what goes on inside the walls that really counts
It kinda makes me think of a futuristic cheese grater.
You did a bang up job with this, Alicia... I've actually seen this hospital, and you really made it look cool! Great perspective, processing, and the title seals the deal.
Beautiful white contrast against the dark sky. It's funny how smooth and curvy this building is. Looks like a stack of legos :P
Great looking photo, Alicia!
