Neat shot, the bird blends into the background, maybe a tighter crop would have worked better. 5

colors are a bit dull, but I think it's the environment.

Proof that camouflage works in nature -- I almost missed the bird!

This shows the Bittern's habitat well and how good they are at camouflage.

The bird seems a little lost in the marsh...perhaps a clearer viewpoint would have more impact..

Looks like a difficult capture - still find that trunk on the left dominates too much, so perhaps a tighter crop on the left may have let the Bittern 'show' better.

Nice bird, but as a challenge entry, this is a little cluttered and the subject does not stand out very well.

Nicely camoflauged. Focus is too soft on the bird.

I like the camouflage and the muted colours of the bittern and its surroundings. Nice shoy.

Is that the nest on the ground? very interesting bird - nicely done. I would have perhaps vropped a bit differently - put the bird more to the right so we get more of an idea of what it is looking at. Just a thought...

nice subject, but the photo is a bit dull - needs more contrast.
