Not tomorrow, or even next week, but slowly and surely they are pushing their way through the relatively frozen ground. Anticipation is delightful; I know how beautiful they will be in bloom. Just need to wait patiently till their time comes.

I did not lie down to get this; lately I've been experimenting with trying to figure out how a shot will look without my eyeball glued to the viewfinder. Unmoving subjects only ;-) It takes a few shots to get what I want but it's working rather well on the whole.

I apologize for the noise; forgot to reset things from my indoor shooting yesterday in Baltimore (D'OH!).

We've got daffs and snowdrops coming through. I guess that I shall have to steal this idea of yours and shoot them for this challenge. Great use of DOF in this shot.

I love when the daffodils come up. In the Northeast that is. The green is such a bright color compared to the brown ground cover.

Nice POV! I use my picture stick (monopod) and hold the camera upside down on top of my boot or shoe, and shoot with the self timer to get this kind of thing. I am older now, and it is easier for me to shoot several that way than just one by getting down on the ground to carefully compose a shot. Down is easy , back up, not so easy LOL. The high iso adds a softness that I like to this scene.

Lucky you! You did a good job of shooting from that angle, especially since you didn't get on the ground!
