Some will hate it.. others might not.. I really like this.. but I'm me..
These hawks circled me for as long as I was out there.. Damn beautiful fellows but I couldn't get a good potrait shot.. Hm.. a good lens could have easily caught a great picture but alas I'm point and shooting person..
used channel mixer for the effect..

A disappointing finishfor a strong, well-composed photograph. I like what I can only describe as an almost lino-cut look to the main hawk, where the light has caught the body contoured. Not a good finish, but you should feel justifiably proud of this one.
High key exxxxxxtreeeeeeeeeeeemmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I love it! This is SO graphic-y it works wonders for me, I like how the high key look makes it almost illustrative and the diagnol lines adds dynamic to the shot, especially as it stars off fine and gradually bolds
I guess this falls into the abstract world. Birdwise, it falls short of holding interest for me, the birds are just too small and don't seem to be the real subject.
Very artsy. What you have going really well is the diagonal lines (diagonals always lend excitement to a piece) and the fact that you have the magic number of three (birds). Three also really lends excitement to an art piece. Well done.
