Can't tell you how much I enjoyed looking at this image several times over the challenge. I thought it would do much better. Keep up the good work. RoB

Simple = Better. Lighting is great. Brown tone colors set this image apart and above most others in the challenge. Great technical quality.

Nice detail and lighting. This one would have worked well in the Textures challenge. ...Less so here, but still good.

An intimate look at shoes! Your point of view and macro really highlight the design and engineering of this shoe--or at least hint at it. Nice work.

Nice use of shallow DOF. Great choice to go in close and create this composition from the larger object. Love the diagonals, the variety of textures and the limited brown, beige and gold colour palette.
