i considered this for the 'best of 2007' challenge but decided to enter something else instead ... its not doing real well !!

i did a self dq after a day of voting, because my photograph was bombing out .. this is the photograph that was entered in the 'best of 2007' challenge ..
I see three different "mini worlds" here and maybe a couple more that aren't as obvious. I can't say how voters would have treated this, but I'm glad you shared it with us.
Oh this is indeed an awesome image! I love the vivid colors and all the sparklies! It's so hard to decide which image to submit...it gets so overwhelming, but this is a great image!
I think I like this one better, too. It works really well as a macro but has some fine detail in the drops' reflections. Like the colors better, too, but that's just a personal preference for the cooler end of the spectrum.
Oh Roz! This is BEAUTIFUL!!! Absolutely stunning! I don't know what you entered, but this surely would fit in with the other amazing entries! Congratulations. I love your macros so much!
I'm sure this would have done very well - but hey - it's hard to tell. In any case I'm very fond of this - it's stunningly beautiful and technically perfect.
