 Got these today at the florist. Got them home. Went to brunch at the restaurant where my show is. Sold 14 framed prints. Need to print more busines cards. Got home. Futzed around. Took a nap. Got up. They still looked good. Finally got some new Black Velvet for backgound. It looks good. They look good together. Posed these, as it were, with a vase and some florists green block. Liked the composition. It looks good! So it may break a 6. So happy 6th, DPC.

Post: Tried an HDR....whew....Convert from raw in PSElemnets 3.0. Cloned some imperfections in some of the petals and some hot pixels in the center of the flowers and on the black background. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen. Full crop.

The poppies have great shape in them. made up of circles, ovals and triangles.

Nice lighting, but I don't like the angle and how some are straight and some are skewed.
