 I have showed you a couple of pics of the Morro Bay estuary and neither had any birds in it. So here they are. Well, some of them anyway. I think these are mostly different varieties of ducks but I wasn't really close enough to tell.

The water really was that blue today. The deep blue water in the background is the bay, the sandy hills behind that is the sandspit that separates the bay from the ocean. Depending on the tide, this estuary is often completely covered with water.

The lines of the waterways you've captured here are wonderful. So many birds, too. If this were my shot, though, I might be tempted to crop off the portion at the very bottom that includes that little additional sliver of waterway.

Phew...this is a gorgeous place! The birds and vivid colors are especially striking. Nice composition, and what a bonus, a flying bird and some yellow on the left!

is that a boat at the bnearback of the frame, on the left?

love all the curves and lines here and of course the blue is so beautiful. Glad you didnt over process it, some things are just "good enough" as we find them!

It's beautiful there. Great shot with the wonderful blue water and the ducks and you even have a large bird flying in over the horizon.
