 Here is a wave breaking at the edge of the reef at Anini. Anini is one of the safest swimming beaches in all of Kaua`i because of the enormous reef. That being said, it is always wise to respect Kaua`i's beaches. Sorry for the blur, it was quite misty this AM.

The big wave is 15 to 20 feet.

Very nice, and I like the misty softness. I love the wave breaking in the center. I also love the cool green tone of this.

Wow that doesn't look very safe!! hehe maybe closer to the shore it is due to the reef breaking the waves.

Now this looks like a more peaceful beach. Reminds me a bit of the Atlantic beaches.
