This is the view from my deck across my street (the deck is on the back and left side of my house). This is yesterday's sunset (today was supposed to be rainy and gray so I took some extra shots yesterday; good thing). I did add a little starburst to the neighbor's lamplight in PP, just to see if I could ;-)
The trees/bushes on the far right are part of my yard; the rest to the various neighbors, and there is actually a strip of parkland that is adjacent to one corner of my yard in the far back, with an itty bitty stream, deer, foxes, and lots of birds. Kind of typical American suburban neighborhood with mostly 4-bedroom, 2-story Colonial-style houses. Built in the late 1970s, when people still expected yards and trees, unlike a lot of newer developments in this area with postage-stamp yards. Most of my yard is mud at the moment, thanks to the rain, and the dogs. |
