Open the door to my front porch, last week when it was too cold to go outside, but the light was gorgeous just the same, so I sat on the floor to get this one...
The same view is now all green grass, brown hay and very wet after the huge thaw we had these last few days..a taste of spring! how nice!

EDIT: tweaked levels in options, sharpen, resize and border.

Lovely capture I know snow is tricky but bet you have plenty of experience by now. Love how the snow looks like sand with all the detail you got.

I love the wind marks on the snow. It is just like the wind and waves on the beaches but colder. The warmth of the light is wonderful. I miss snow all of the sudden. Oh well, I'll get over it somehow.

Oh I love the light in this - the shadows and twigs are amazing, along with the shapes. Well seen.

This is nice. I tried to get a shot like this, but it didn't come out as nice.

Nice shot Anni Gal. Is this taken from the porch we sat on. Where I got the beautiful sunset?

Hmm. Think I like it better without the brush area on top. It looks more dramatic to me that way. Nothing like getting contradictory opinions, is there?

I think the tonal values through this is fantastic. The brush on the top is great!

Edit for: no snow for me, thanks.
