This is a portrait of my fiancee. I wanted to do something unique so we decided for her to hold her glasses at distance in front of her face. The focus was on the glasses.

This shot was taken with a 50mm 2.0 manual lens I bought on Ebay for only $32 and that's including shipping!

I think you really nailed this one with regard to the varrying degrees of clarity presented. The window or what ever it is in the background, however, is very distracting.

Interesting concept. Must have been a tough shot to focus!

This works well, where others like it in this challenge do not. Nice use of focus and blur.

Can't say the composition impresses me, but I do like the idea and execution.

Well done, but composition could probably have been better.

a better attempt at this idea than I've seen so far. Some cropping may be in order, but very well done.

This is very very cool. I really like this one a lot. I like how the bigger picture is blurry and the small image of her face in the glasses is the sharpest point. My eyes travel everywhere! Really great job on this. Keep up the good work!

Nice focus on the face behind the glasses! Maybe a little more focus on the actual glasses.

The point of interest is too far to the side of the frame.
