 Elephant Seal pup 4-6 weeks old. He's been weaned and is on his own. Will teach himself to swim and head out to sea in about 2 months. Used 500mm lens to capture this closeup.

Cute but something about the editing of this picture makes it look flat and unreal. Almost like its a picture of a picture.

My eyes are draw to the wrinkles in the seals skin more than it's eyes. Crop tighter on the face, the expression is great!
