 I've struggled with this shot. Keep it in, or pull it?

Most likely the DNMC police are going to be all over it for technicalities of what spectacles are. :)

Could be one of my higher comment counts when it's over.

Technically, the exposure on top of the head is a bit hot. It was a small sacrifice to keep the face illuminated. The background is sufficiantly blurred from distance and aperture selection, but is still somewhat distracting.

I looked at this in B&W but then the swim goggles lost their impact as they stand out better in color with the bright blue.

I predict a score between 4.85 and 5.15 on this one. The OOBIES will like it, the challenge technocrats probably won't. All in good fun - eh? :-P

Good looking shot, i used to swim for my county so this really appeals to me.
You have really captured that moment of thought where he is running though his head "stokes", "breathing", winning.
