 Here's a bonus for day two.

I really like this shot - first macro with my new camera. Did I mention I have a new camera?? :op

I should have submitted this to Free Study instead of the one that is tanking so badly that I can barely stand to look at it.

This is a bud of the bottle brush bush (say that fast three times). The bush itself has bright red bursts of blooms:
