Great shot....such a cool thought to be out there...away from it all...excellent

There's another entry with a more spectacular sunset, with added interest from the silhouette of land and the inclusion of the sun. But that one is let down for me by the inclusion of a powered motor boat - not my idea of silence. Your image implies a more peaceful, silent journey, but for me, is let down by weak composition, tilted horizon and lack of additional interest. I'm also not sure that the centred position of the boat is the strongest choice.

I like this shot, minus the tree limbs, but overall 7.

Nice and peaceful. Try not to center the main subject, though. Remember the rule of thirds for composition. In this case I think it would have improved the image.

Lovely sunset silhouette which sure shows serenity and silence.

I have two suggestions which may make the picture better. First, either crop off, or straighten the horizon on the top of the pictue. (I would get rid of it - simpler is better?)

Second, try different crops to see if one works out that frames the scene well , but which doesn't have the ship in the exact center of the frame. Off-center objects please the eye a lot more. :)

The dark edge on the top slightly distracts from the power of the image. Boat off-center may have improved the composition. 7

Stunning, except that it runs downhill at the top (right to left). I can't decide if I like that odd line on the left hand side, either. You probably had no control over that. Otherwise, beautiful. Hope you take a ribbon!

color and contrast are great

What a fantastic opportunity! IMHO though the shot would be greatly improved by cropping out the dark shore (?) at the top and the lines (vegetation?)and mooring at the left. This would leave the vessel in a rather more pleasing location more in keeping with the Rule of Thirds.

Great image. Boat is perhaps a little centered but still works ok

lovely gold tones and certainly communicates silence. to make the shot stronger - horizon needs to be level and the subject moved left or right in the frame to allow my eye to flow into the picture.
