Thank you all for your loving words. I was going for dark, but I knew it would have been nice for a little more but found the placement of another candle (to add the extra light) a little distracting.

Good strong statement. I now you were going for the candle as your main source, but I would have liked to see a little more fill to help make the ink well a little more clear. It also would have focused attention on the journal and writing instruments instead of the candle. My eyes keep drifting to the flame.

Very nice. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that the candle's a tad bright.
