The female of a pair that come regularly to my backyard. They brought their fluffy little baby last spring and he was adorable, so I'm hoping to see a new little one again this spring.

Took this from inside so as not to scare her off, but had to stand on a chair to get a good angle. Exposure set manually, which I find myself doing more and more of lately, especially with the long zoom.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, levels, dodged eye a little, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction.

My favorite thing is birdies esp since it's winter and there's not much else to capture..
I know use the imagination!

That looks like a very small bird with the size of the wire on the feeder behind it. I don't think we have those in this area of the country.
That's a good photo, and good processing to present the subject so nicely.

Well done -i do that too, shoot the birds from inside. I have a male like this so must be a female too nearby !You captured the eye very well.
