 I was in Florida the first part of the month for some training and I came across this old dock at the United States Air Force EOD Underwater Training Facility. I snapped off a bunch of shots while the sunset had such beautiful colors and the water such good reflections.

I usually shoot all of my landscapes as HDR's. Since this was only Advanced Editing, I had to mimick what the HDR would do for me with layers. I used a layer set to multiply and masked out the areas I wanted lighter, then set one to screen and masked out the areas I wanted darker. Then I used one with soft light with about 50% opacity. I duplicated the layer and ran Digital Film Tools 55mm filter set to sunset and then set that layer to about 40% opacity. Then I flattened the layers and used Nik Define 2.0 for noise removal. Cropped to the dimensions I wanted, resized for DPC then I followed that by duplicating that layer and using Smart Sharpen at 100/1.0 and then I masked the sharpened layer and painted in over the trees and dock. Cropped, added the border and saved for web.

My prediction on this is a 5.6XXX

The colours in the sky are good. The dock seems to be clashing with the trees for attention. I think it would be better if you either just featured one or changed your camera angle so that the dock and the trees were clearly separate - perhaps by shooting from a higher position.
