It would be nice to be able to see more detail on the dogs face. The lighting in this shot seems to work against you here.

This is a neat shot but the centered composition is a bit stagnant I think. There is this great diagonal line you have going with the stick leading to the dog and the space at the right doesn't really add anything to it.
