 Oh yeah! I was pretty excited the day I took this. I know I have taken an owl shot before but it is still just as exciting. The very same day I also took pictures of golden eagles, bald eagles, a falcon and a badger..yes a badger..how cool is that! It was awesome. Still pretty hyped about it all. Oh and it wasn't take at a zoo. Wyoming rocks!

I do love a good owl photo! Especially when you managed to capture one not in captivity! Love the tufted ears :-) Owls are so cute!

Awesome details and textures in the bird...I think you need to go back and find that barn again...the perfect challenge is here

Oh yes! I'd think I had died and landed in heaven to see a magnificent bird like this in the wild. There is something so majestically haunting about owls! This one is shot and processed to perfection.
