I wish I could find something positive to say... sorry that I can't.

i don't like the composition. it is all very distracting to the main subject. i would not have known the main subject if it weren't in the title.

Imaging quality here is really low as you probably already know and have been told. Composition wise, it's way too busy.

no clear background or focused crop/zoom makes the picture seem cluttered such that the deflated ball does not appear to be at all the subject of the pciture

too much going on in the image, and the date just ruined it. Try cropping it and use natural light or lamp

In the darker days of the year, many photogs turn to artificial light, and not everyone of us has the money (or financial priority) to buy strobes or sophisticated flashes. Now, the onboard flash of the camera seems to come in handy. But they don't. Onboard flashes kill pictures: they create bleek whites and hars shadows. Your pic suffers from these features as well. There are simple, cheap and fairly effective ways to handle this, for instance by putting a tissue in front of the flash to soften and diffuse the light. Other techniques to soften or reflect light may be helpfull too.

Pixelated, poor lighting, no effort at composition, date stamp within the image.

I have to admit, you have me beat! I thought I was a shoo-in for the brown ribbon on this one! Oh, well, I'll have to try less next time.

I think the timestamp may be your undoing. :-(

turn off your time/date stamp...
12/27/2007 11:18:34 AM
Hehe. You have guts to enter this, I'll give you that. :)
12/27/2007 10:18:20 AM
not immediately apparent, date showing, out of focus
12/27/2007 10:08:46 AM
I wont say anything about the date stamp because Im sure you are getting enough comments about it.
12/27/2007 08:14:50 AM
With advanced editing allowed, I'd like to see the date removed.
