This photo has a lot of great textures. I think you would have scored higher but there ended up being a lot of cemetries in this challenge and I think that worked against you. Photographically this is a great shot.

Gee, another graveyard.......sigh

The leading lines and patterns of the clean white stones are very striking. The composition feels balanced by the position of the tallest tree off to one side, weighted further by the fir next to it. The sky has enough texture to add interest. Black and white really enhances this image.

This is one of my favorite photos in the bunch. I was wondering what it might have looked like if you took it from the oposite direction so that there were no names on any of the headstones. just a thought. 8

NIce image. I like the fact that it is in B&W instead of color. Nice choice.

Even though this is a nice photo, maybe less of the amount of graves and more on the detail of them.

By far the best cemetary scene in the challenge, and a fine photo in its own right. Wonderful perspective, both horiz and vert, with the eye moving with pleasure to take in the whole scene. I love the the simple, honest voice you use here. Really well done.

The shots of graveyards/ cemeteries are the ones that have made the biggest impression on me for this challenge. I think they make you feel the silence.

There is something about tomb stones that are interesting to look at. Not to be morbid. I like this in black and white.

I'd really like to see the full quality file of this - it's an amazing shot, and I'd like the detail of the trees to pop out more, which is impossible with this quality of .jpg.

Does a nice job on conveying "silence". For my personal taste, the B/W doesn't do this picture any favors. Score: 4

Great composition, the trees give it a nice balance
