 A tribute to Chema Madoz. I have only recently found his work and found it truly inspiring, so simple yet so clever. Originally I planned to do it in colour, the thread is red and the paper is brown (I liked the papers texture), but it lost the impact of the 'treble clef', thus I used quadtones.

Very creative. It absolutely shows the beauty in everyday things. Fits both "everyday" and "Wabi-Sabi".

the plainess of the composition is really nice.. like how the textures are brought out..

I like the idea of this but it seems a touch too contrived to suit the definition of "wabi sabi," but maybe I'm being too particular. I think it would work better if it were less centered and there were more negative space to the left or right.

If people go nitpicking thumbnails they'll surely miss this fine gem. I didn't know what to expect when I open this, and was very pleasantly surprised. Has a very Chem Madoz style to it, which I like a lot.
