 Made some macademia nut cookies last night (they really did look better than in this shot!). I took the shot in b&w, then colored the cookies in photoshop, added a little lucisart filters.

attack of the killer cookies !!! ..
its only 6.29am here in oz .. i got up & made a coffee, (which i'v only had two sips out'v of .. its cold now . like how do you type and drink coffee at the same time .. i ask you !!! .. ) .. had two sips and for the next hour i'm typing comments ..
an urge to eat has been gnawing at me for some time .. seeing this has tipped me over the scales ... i can just about taste those cookies .. my sister in law made some fantastic peanut butter ones the other day .. i ate three in a row .. they were extremely yummy ... i ate the nearly burnt ones so i wasnt being a total pig & depriving other ppl .. !! ..

You are making us hungry for cookies!
It must have been a task to get the color to look ok working from a B&W image. If I want B&W, I always shoot color, then convert it later. It allows you to desat, and then adjust the 3 color levels to get the best contrast and levels for the image conversion to B&W. It is similar to using strong color filters and B&W film back in BC. (before cards)

Those look delicious and HUGE. I think every time I've seen cookie pictures here I've been hungry. I'll get my revenge when I start baking (assuming they turn out ok)!
