 this is one Common Brown Butterfly (Heteronympha merope) butterfly that was on the firetrail yesterday on a pile of sticks ..
he moved around a bit !!...
it's another example of combining more than one photograph and trying to make it look 'real' ..
i only got four photographs before katee frightened him away ..

this is another butterfly i photographed a few minutes later in a different place ..

well i think it was a different butterfly .. there's a slight possibility its the same one !! .. they all look the same ...

OK, this is really cool. I guess you had the camera on a tripod? 'Cuz the front stick is really sharp. Or did you just take out the butterfly in one shot and put him in here? Ah - wait - I think I see: The two on the ends are the same shot, just reversed and resized. The sunlight on the right one is on the wrong side.

Dear God, Roz. I do love you, and I love your work, but I can't look at these - I'm sure it's lovely. In the thumb it looked like birds, so I innocently opened it. Now my eyeballs are curdled! :op
