I'm not even sure if this is worthy of posting. But it was the only thing I could think of for this challenge. I guess thats what it's about, to actually get you to go out and try something. Well I was currently trying out macro photos with my new 300d. I don't expect to score high on this. Changed the brightness/contrast and a tad bit of unsharp mask.

Scary macro shot, nice take on the challenge and I frankly hope you never use it.

the beginning would be my answer. the end would be when none exist.

This appears to be overly sharpened and slightly out of focus but that may be the sharpening... Nice high key composition otherwise.

Out of focus, too bright

The flash makes it hard to look at. Try using a little more natural light.

Minus the big bright spot in the center of the photo this is a really good macro.

Not a bad photo. I appreciate the careful placement of the bullet so that the writing is easily read, and the matching of the background to the silver color. I had to look closely to see if this was a color or B/W shot and finally decided on "color". Good positioning within the frame of the picture. It's obvious you pay attention to detail. The lighting glare is not good, but not too distracting either.

Good idea, focus is off a little. Not crazy about the choice of backgrounds either.

Reflections at the top part are a bit overpowering.

A bit bright; perhaps the speckles could be removed from the grey surface?

nice pic, but (for me) does not fit the challenge well - it doesn't say 'conflict' without an explanation. Show the pic to strangers, and say nothing. Ask "What is the first thing that comes to mind?" or even 'What is the conflict in this image?' and let me know if anyone gets it.

Focus would be better on the writing. Lighting seems a little harsh.
