Airlie Beach - November 2007

Hey guys - thanks for the lovely comments - the screen look is 'render - fibres' in Photoshop - I use them SO often, mostly subtly - I just love what they offer.

Check them out - VERY useful little tool - GRIN!

I love the old time feeling of this picture. I am certainly going to have to check out the 'render-fibres' in Photoshop. The negative space sure adds to the picture.

love your editing -- it gives such an old feel to the photo. His pose and your composition are great. There is so much of a "story telling" going on here that you can instantly relate to it. One incredible image.

Wonderful editing!

Just went and had a look ..... ps7 doesn't have that one. Might have to go in search of a plug-in that would have a similar effect.

I like your use of color and empty space. The rocks are a great bonus! I've never seen the fibres before - or I guess I have ;-) but I have now, Thanks!

The colors make this look like it was taken back in the 70's, nice use of negative space too. OH, & I like your screen effect too.

This is really nice......a pastoral seaside scene. Nice to see while the 0ºC winds are whipping around my home right now! LOL!!!

Love the colors and minimalism. Whatever you used makes it seem as if we're looking through a screen - giving a detached feeling. Excellent image.

cool tones Lisa. I like the way his knees are touching, like he is a bit pensive to go out farther.
