Ok, I warned you that the Christmas influx was about to begin.

Does anyone have any advise on taking candle shots without having the flames blown out?

Very nice composition and this picture has such rich colors in it. For me it has a quite an elegant feel to it.

If you reduce the breeze in the room the candles won't get blown out. Sorry... couldn't resist. The suggestion of bright lights or HDR would probably work.

Nice composition and color combination.

I love this iamge -- very x-massy. I turn the lights on and severely underexpose the image to retain details in the candle lights and the surroundings.

Wonderful shot. Love the warm tones and the way the antlers leave the frame along with the reds of the poinsettia echoed at the bottom. I suppose you could shoot two photos and combine them in PS, like HDR but I like the candles the way they are. I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, but, what is that blue light?

Very Christmassy, for sure! Love the soft light and the glow. Great candle holder. I have no idea how to not make flames blow out. As it is, the photo is fine, though.

I don't have any advice but love your image ! What a neat candle holder and with the poinsetta and subdued lighting it's a very lovely Christmas image.
