A shot of the most recognizable landmark in San Antonio. While we lost here to Santa Anna is still stands today to be a sign of battle and of future freedom. Remember the Alamo!

Overall a nice shot. It seems a little plain to me, though. It leaves me wanting to see something happening.

nice b&w capture.

I've taken the very same shot, and it has the very same problem - the slight tilt to the ground level is really distracting.

This one NEARLY hits home :) Definitely meets the challenege - I have no doubt where you are from! I'm your neighbor, about 180 miles to the east. This is a great, classic shot, of the Alamo. The shot has excellent clarity, and is very level. Any particular reason on the B&W? I think a bit of color in the sky, would be a perfect contrast for this picture... 8 - JB

Wow! Remember the Alamo indeed. As a fellow Texa I can appreciate and really enjoy this picture. The black and white looks excellent and it has great contrast against a less than exciting sky. Love the cropping and inclusion of grass patch. Perfect! ** 10 **

I think this good shot would have even looked better if you had cropped the black mat thing out of the front of the picture. I like the B&W.

Classic photo. Perhaps some less foreground is desireable. JEM

Good subject matter for "My Corner of the World." The horizon is leaning a bit to the left. Focus & DOF good.

Consider more careful alignment, just a suggestion. Otherwise, very nice.

The image looks tilted

You should use a tripod, good subject but horizon is skewed.

Needs just a little straightening. Like the black and white.
