Any self-portrait should be a process of self-discovery and risk-taking, and should result in an image that exposes something about yourself. This was what I hoped to achieve here.

The most fun part about this project was inserting myself into the images on the right side of the screen. It was challenging to match the lighting on the originals, but I think they turned out pretty good.

Technicals:
(I did a lot of little things and I can't remember everything, but here's what I can recall)
Raw conversion in ACR, adjusting white balance, temperature, contrast and saturation.

In Elements:
Crop
Applied Dry Brush Effect, and then erased out the monitor screen.
Cloning to fix some blemishes on my face and smooth out some of the color.
Shadow and Highlights

I don't like the pastel look here. It just doesn't work that well.

Love the fact that this is a tribute to the Rockwell! Just seems to flat and a bit busy.
