 It is the 1st of December today, and Xmas is only weeks away, so we put up and turned on our Xmas rope lights.

By the way, an early Merry Christmas everyone.....

I like the repeating pattern as it goes back, really gives the photo depth i also like the shallow DOF used on the photo the color on black seems to pop really well.

Hi Shez - what a joy to see your picture! The colors against the dark BG put me in the mood for Xmas. I love the progressive bokeh in the back too. the looping lights look like those jellied "worm" candy, illuminated from the inside. Love it!

This is really beautiful. Like the recurring loops of lights that are progressively more out of focus. Great colors as well. You are setting the standards at a high level for this challenge!

Nice shot, I really like that you let the focus fade so quickly so that the lat loops of the lights are OOF. Christmas lights are more beautiful when the colours mesh together rathenr than standing individually.
