| Wonderfully moody and allegorical. Great as a series with that mysterious bird and dark, encircling trees. |

| Awesome... the yellowing colors create a very brooding atmosphere here. And I love the way that one branch seems to curl around the bird like a talon. Great image! |

| Erin, this is fabulous. And I agree black tupelo is so much better sounding than sourgum! Love the texture you've captured here. And the icing on the cake, so to speak, is the bird. |

wow .. another brilliant image .. it reminded me of another one that i absolutely loved .. then i noticed it on your profile page .. 'shine' .. two wonderful images .. this one i find more atmospheric .. that bird caught in flight is wonderful ..
thankyou erin for your excellent comments on nearly ALL my images in this side .. thats quite an achievement seeing i'd often put in more than one each day .. its been an excellent side challenge our overlays .. i reckon we've all learnt so much from each other .. aint dpc wonderful !!! ...

| Oh!!! what is tupelo? Makes me think of that song "She's as Sweet as Tupelo Honey." Excellent. Almost forboding. I adore silhouettes. Kick ass layer!!!!! |
