 Liked the idea of one Skittle candy amongst "crowd" of M&Ms. Hardest part was getting the lighting broad enough to prevent a large highlight on each candy. Bounces SB-25 in softbox off the ceiling, of course then I barely had enough power to light the shot. Had to adjust levels pretty heavily and contrast just a tad then just sharpen.

Better composed than a very similar shot from somebody else in this competition, the Skittle still doesn't really stand out enough for my liking though.

Meets the challenge, but would have worked better if u did'nt use a variety of color's. Maybe the skittle among yellow MnM's. The subject being the skittle just does'nt stand out.

candy is hard to capture without the shiny look.
i like how there isn't any glare on this picture. it's very subtle yet brilliant.

like the border for once, colors are lackluster due to flat light. good composition, but would like a differently colored s to make more of a contrast with m&ms.

This doesn't work good enough. It took me a while to figure out which one is the "subject". The image looks under exposed too.

I like the concept. I do not care for the white frame. For some reason the colours appear a bit dull.

Cool idea, I like it! I know there were a bunch of "independent inventions" with the same idea in this contest, but I like this one the best because you only differentiate the skittle with the S vs M. The other pictures make the skittle stand out by being a different color as well. I like the subtlety in this case.

your lighting is all worng here. It makes the image look really bad. Also I'm not sure if you did or not but it looks like you used the USM filter a bit too much.
