Sunrise from the south rim of the Chisos mountains, Big Bend National Park, Texas. We hiked up to 7,500 feet and camped for the night. Struggled out of the sleeping bag in freezing temps to catch this.

Excellent view, lovely lighting and rich shadows. Could almost have done with a bit of dodging and burning just to really beef up the rocky landscape to provide a bit more variety in places and a real punch
The planet or another planet, because if you told me this was Mars I would believe you. Wonderful landscape and the haze just adds to the sense of other worldliness. Colour is superb and the POV magical
