Great take on this challenge. Benn there many times. I like the sharpness of the entire picture. Very good.

SOUNDS like you have a lot of life altering issues so i guess you wont be able to practice your photography for awhile.

Interesting idea and nice shot. Though IMO this doesn't always represent conflict.

Abortion is murder.

i think this is a very powerful conflict however I think the text of the image is tooo straight forward. I would prefer to think just a tiny bit to understand the photo. It is also not very detailed photo b/c of the graininess

Only a conflict in certain situations. However being a new dad, the title is all so true!

This is certainly a poignant theme for Conflict. I’m guessing that there will be ‘conflict’ amongst the voters that do & don’t see this as a conflict. I feel that the tone in the picture is enhanced with the wooden table top instead of a metal table top. The ‘instrument’ looks plastic and conveys the message “life… or not”. I’m experiencing a personal conflict with theme presented to me by the title “Life Altering Decision” in conjunction with the message shown on the device. If the inspiration for this shot is of a personal nature to you, I hope that all works out well. CONFLICT indeed.

nice pic, but (for me) does not fit the challenge well - it doesn't say 'conflict' without an explanation. Show the pic to strangers, and say nothing. Ask "What is the first thing that comes to mind?" or even 'What is the conflict in this image?' and let me know if anyone gets it. Now lay this over a brochure or 2 from abortion clinics or adoption agencies ant you are getting somehwere!

Definetly alot of conflict in one simple word. I'm not sure how I feel about the photo, but it captures the challenge really well. 5
