| Well it certainly has a dynamic composition. Softfocus at the bottom but still one of the better shots. |

| very nice colors and focus, but the crop seems a bit tight for the feathers to balance bill, and the right angles in the backround clash with the curves of the subject. However it is a very nice shot. |

| Interesting shot, nice texture contrasts within the subject. The cropping is a little too radical, I'd have liked seeing more of the head feathers. |

| Thaty background really is a shame - pulls the eye very hard. I'm just aware of those shapes all the time I try to look at the capture of teh bird. Good work on the exposure, and it's a very accurate rendition, good sense of the construction of its beak, and the differing textures there. But that thing in the back is murdering what might have been a top image. A shame, too. |

| Terrific rendition of the feather texture. And he stood still long enough for you to gete the shot. If you only could have gotten a catchlight this would be perfect. Nevertheless, it's still a great 7. |
