This was supposed to be a quick one for tonight. I have scrapbooking tonight, I have been working all day ( I am a relieving teacher , subsitute teacher to you Americans!) so I only had a small window of time where i could play. My scrapbooking friends get cross with me coz I spend way more time and energy on photography than scrapbooking!I wanted to stay at home and play tonight but I could'nt! So here I ma having put off cooking tea and running late for scrapbooking as I could'nt do this quickly!
We have a grapevine these are baby grapes :) here's the original [thumb]610604[/thumb]

Played in adobe raw am beginning to appreciate this more and more. Cropped and rotated
then added jasonlprice's sand texture
soft llight 11% dup layer colour 13%

then add
philup's yellow texture
luminosity 20% dup layer colour burn 20%

Diffuse glow

my texture lunimosity 40% dup layer overlay 40%

was not happy with the blown out top left hand corner so added this texture [thumb]610605[/thumb] to see if that would take care of it saturation 50% dup layer overlay 50%( BTW I got that texture from one of the websites in this thread cant remember which one LOL!

Erase on the baby grapes when each layer added

The overlays add a feeling of motion to this one (with the swishes). Cool effect.

This one turned out beautifully! Love the "melancholy" feeling it gives. I actually really like this one. In looking at it, one thing that strikes me though is that it looks so green and fresh, and that that somehow clashes just a bit with the feeling of sadness that comes from the drops streaks, and the bricks. I wonder if toning down the greens a bit would work, maybe getting them a shade closer to reds or reddish yellows?
