interesting shot, and interesting red color. perhaps a little low contrast for my taste but overall quite good.

I find the color very distracting.

No Thanks anyway Id rather not... looking at the picture is good enough for me!

Great shot, nice subject for texture. Very interesting colors and composition.

The texture of the snakes skin is showing well, but the choice of making it red seems very odd to me.
02/22/2004 02:03:11 AM
I really like the photo. It could be a lot stronger if the colors were not messed with.

I like the scales gives the photo a great texture. You also did a good job in filling the frame, there is no room in the photo that has no reason. The red is a little too much in my opinion, looks unnatural for a snake.

Are these actual colors? Excellent set up and colors.

I'm back to comment. Nice detail on the texture, the lighting is good too. It would have looked better if you left the color as it is or B&W :)

Keep it up...

Wow, the red really brings this out.. great shot.

Good idea with the duotone. Fantastic composition.
02/19/2004 09:15:24 PM
Lovely abstract, full of pronounced textures. Like the monochromatic approach, wish it was in perfect focus. Good job.
02/19/2004 08:36:43 PM
Is the snake really this red or did you do that? Great texture and composition but I really don't like the color.
02/19/2004 04:35:18 PM
The texture still comes through, rather depite than because of the red toning i think. I think perhaps it was a bad idea - that colour, though the photo seems to be a pretty good one beneath it.
02/19/2004 01:06:33 PM
Great photo, I think the red takes away from the impact though.
02/19/2004 12:31:46 AM
I think a more natural looking coloration would be more pleasing, at least to my eyes.
02/19/2004 12:03:39 AM
absolutely beautiful. incredible tones. is this a pet?
02/18/2004 11:17:54 PM
Interesting color. nice focus

I'm not clear what this is. Almost looks like sequins.

Great color andcomposition in this image. Beautifully done.

Texture - yes. Difficult to distinguish subject.... color is a bit harsh...3
02/18/2004 10:36:09 AM
What type of snake is this and what is the original color? Great texture.
02/18/2004 09:30:27 AM
WOW! How can you get it so close? Is it dead? Nice shoot. Great details of texture. The color seem to be setuped, is it edited to change colors? This color works very wel if edited. Great job.
02/18/2004 04:47:03 AM
super composition and texture and subject. Awful pink cast - why! Without the pink a 9 with it a 2. sorry.
02/18/2004 01:24:05 AM
wicked, i can almost feel the snake skin, a little too red, but too much to take away from the picture - 7
