Has some nice patterns, but needs a point of interest to keep you interested. If keep on a tripod or other flat surface, you can get a nice shot of the lights and some darkness of the sky to give it some contrast.

wayyyyy too small.
02/24/2004 06:18:43 PM
Fail to see how this meets the challenge. In any event, the photo is well out of focus and relays no indication of what it's meant to be portraying. this counts as a 1 in my book I'm afraid.

I can't see how this picture meet the challenge, this is not a texture it seems more like some light effect
02/24/2004 02:27:45 PM
Too small, too bright. And that black corner on the right needs to go.
02/24/2004 12:05:45 PM
I find this photo too bright in general, and certainly too bright to show texture.
02/24/2004 10:03:11 AM
I'm afraid that this is very overexposed. In shots like this, I like there to be some detail in the lighted areas. The cameras movement up and down hurt as well (I realize it was probably a bump in the road) and finally, the cropping should have taken out the window frame. Keep practising though, this was probably the hardest shot to attempt in the whole competition.

too small, may have some interest but too hard to tell
02/23/2004 09:23:20 PM
Little here to hold one's interest. Looks like you stuck the camera out the window while driving along. I don't see much connection to "texture." 1

too small an image, more like a tumbnail.
02/23/2004 09:28:33 AM
This picture doesn't convey a texture message to me. The shot however would be greatly improved without the shaking...
02/22/2004 10:45:57 PM
Nothing about this photo says "smooth" to me... distracting obstruction on the right, chaotic composition. Not really on topic.
02/22/2004 09:32:02 AM
I'm afraid this is too small and a poor shot.
02/22/2004 06:17:23 AM
Lousy picture if you ask me...whre is the texture?
02/20/2004 04:56:15 AM
Very small, very dull compositionally, and the bump in those lines suggests the opposite of your title anyway. Unless you were being ironic, of course.
02/19/2004 11:58:04 PM
This is more about motion than texture to me. Dark area on the right is distracting.

[World Record Attempt]
+ ....
- You fail to meet the challenge; I have no clue where the textures are.
02/19/2004 02:05:41 PM
interesting view of light. The dark thing in the cornerB/R distarcts me from what you were trying to show
02/19/2004 10:02:46 AM
I'll give you some credit for thinking differently, but I'm just not seeing "texture."
02/19/2004 08:28:19 AM
A bit off topic IMHO, less the subject.
02/19/2004 12:27:30 AM
its too blured and too busy....
02/18/2004 11:19:38 PM
Really small, and I think the technique here needs more practice to not be overdone in brightness.
02/18/2004 05:57:00 PM
Interesting technique, but I think that if it didn't have the dark triangle on the right, it would look less like an accident. Right now, it seems to me like you saw something interesting, and had to shoot quickly before it was gone, resulting in a haphazard composition. Cropping it so that the triangle wasn't showing would make for a stronger composition, but hten you would lose the other squiggly lines on the right.
02/18/2004 01:31:46 PM
picture is a too small
02/18/2004 12:02:36 PM
Difficult to distinguish the subject.....and how it relates to texture.....
02/18/2004 10:34:44 AM
Do you know what challenge you entered? I was just wondering because it is way off.
02/18/2004 10:17:33 AM
I guess you were going for the last place huh? its like you were driving and accedently took a picture out of the window and oops I guess I´ll send this one in, If you think this picture is your best shot in this texture challenge then I´m sorry dont mean to offend you or nothing, but it isnt a good photo, yeah I guess you made some textures by shaking your camera ok So I give you extra point for that - 2
