Nice take on the challenge and a nice solid shot. I like the composition and the monochrome makes it stand out. Very nice solid shot all around.

A nice take on the challenge. This is more of a real sequence than the other similar one. It may have been best to be consistent in the way the kernel is facing instead of right, left, left, back, back.

great, and original, could have been better if floor was solid color

This is a very original idea, very detailed even though the white seems to be a little too bright to me. Love the reflection on the smallest kernel. The title says it all but it makes me think of "evolution". I also like the reflection in the foreground.

Very creative!!! I would have liked to see the shot in color, but this works.

Nice idea. There's another shot that shows them in the air, which I think gives it more dynamics. However, yours has more detail and tonal quality. I think a merger of the two ideas would have yielded the best shot.

I think it'd look better in color with some great yellows.

I like the idea very much but why did you chose to use bw?

Interesting concept, I think color may have worked better for it.

The tonal balance on this is perfection-- It looks amazing on a calibrated moniter..

great idea, but the execution is a bit lacking. The bw conversion looks nice, but the background/table distracts too much. The focus and dof are good. The light is OK but doesnt add to the picture. 7
