I had to look to see the overlay. It's a true enhancement, not just overlay for the sake of overlay. |

I love how you've enhanced this in such a subtle way from the original. Great shot to start with! |

Without seeing the examples, I'd just think this was a cool single image. I like how the overlay can be subtle and not "oh look, somebody put another image on top of the first one." You're good!!! |

cats are brilliant charlie .. !!!! .. look at those eyes and those whiskers and that amazing focused look .. as a thumb and even after opening this one i am not aware of the texture you used except when compared with the original .. an excellent portrait of your mercury ..
i was down at my brother's place today and my niece ann-marie who featured in 'fast track to oblivion', was playing with her cat .. she teases it heaps .. she was sucking up to the cat today and the cat was making these incredibly cute cat noises .. i thought it was ann-marie mucking around at first .. i'm getting closer and closer to owning a cat .. as long as it was like a dog i'd be ok with it .. like if it came for walks and was a good photographic subject .. !!! |

Lovely work Charlie! The texture is so delicately added here ... feels like I could reach out and touch her. |
